New cards and some more scrapping

Cor blimey - i just can't stop going on about the Scrapagogo kits. They are truly delish and just give such good value for money. All layouts have an element of a kit in it. Some the Feb kit and some from previous kits. Also used are the LSH ribbon kits

Ian's birthday coming up and it's a biggie- we've decided not to do anything at the moment and go to Disneyworld Paris either this spring or this autumn. card further down the post using piccie of him as a baba and Gogo kit. Also some cards made using embossing folders

Leap Year Beer Mat Book RAK

Just come across a load of stash from the shop and have decided to put together little kits to make beer mat books. Will make probably at least 10 so if anyone wants to have their name put in the hat then leave me a comment with a link back to your blog and I'll put your name in a hat to draw next Friday (29th Feb- LEAP DAY).

Included will be the beer mats, a book ring, some papers and some other bits as well.

made Micky and Minnie using the new cuttlebug folders. Also bought some Simon and Lola stamps from funkykits and managed to get some time last night to create some new cards and also one of the other nww folders I bought for my cuttlebug- I love the embossed effect

from Scrapagogo. I soooo love this kit. It has absolutely loads of gorgeous stash in it.








The only thing I have added is some ribbon to some ribbon from the LSH kit.

Quick post

... last night I said to ian- don't bother wasting your money on Valentine present/crap flowers from the local shop.
Ok says he.
I was in bed and heard him go outside- thought he'd gone for a sly fag.
This morning came down- massive bunch of red flowers, box of choccies and cards onthe chair- AW bless his little cotton socks.

Can't find the valentines card I made him weeks ago- eek

What a fab week...

... been out and about every day this week with Erin.
Monday- Beaumaris playground
Tuesday- Lligwy beach
today- Piggery pottery- painted a pot and a couple of masks

Lovin KITS

Been so industrious the last few days. I don't get an awful lot of time to myself and when i do I struggle. So I have subbed to the Scrapagogo kit. I have bought a few kits previously but decided to sub and not buy any other stash.

The first 3 I did in about an hour this morning- it was so quick to just grab the box and GOGO. The only bits i added were from Lianne's ribbon kits (sadly will be no more)

The other Layouts are from the November kit and also Tiger Tiger and First day of school are from the charity kit that Scrapgogo did a few months ago.

Have also made some cards but won't show them on here as they are for people who read this

Better today

Things are loads better today.
Just had Swyn weighed nad she's put on 7 1/2 oz-yup- 7 1/2 oz my little heavyweight has put on lol.
She is now up from 0.4th centile to 2nd centile and is within an ok weight range. Her head and length are both on the 50th centile so dead average. She's just a skinny minny I think.
Ordered me a 12 x 12 guillotine yesterday and told Ian that's the birthday present he MEANT to buy me instead of the flowers and he agreed that the flowers were an oversight.

Would like it if someone could explain what's happening to my mail though. Tracy lives half a mile down the road from me and we have the same postie. He goes to her just before me. So why then when kits are despatched from somewhere does hers arrive 2 days before mine?
Exactly the same item sent out at exactly the same time but she gets hers 2 days before me. Me thinks the potie is a secret stash stroker and is keeping my kits back awhile. This is the second kit this has happened with.

As you can tell I am eagerly pacing the floor waiting for my GOGO kit.

I love my phone- have had a chance to play a bit with it and it's fantastic. Just need to work out how to download music onto it from my pc and I'm away

New piece of kit

Got me a new piece of kit today. It's a Sat Nav, phone, a 5 mega pixel camera, a video, a mini cinema (comes with the new Spiderman 3 movie and you can download and then watch other movies), a music player. It's pretty much an all singing all dancing gizmo for the Queen of the gadgets. I LOVE gadgets and have today taken delivery of the New Nokia N95 8GB. A monster of a phone lol.
This phone replaces the Samsung that I had 2 weeks ago and which drains the battery like nobody's business.

We had Erin's party on Saturday and a fantastic day was had by everybody. it all went smoothly- no one turned up who hadn't RSVP'd (please don't start me on that but I couldn't believe that some people didn't have the courtesy to even tell me their child wan't going). I'll upload some piccies later.

Been to one of the breastfeeding groups half an hour away today and feel a bit better. The lady that runs it is a GP and is fantastically reasuring after a bad week last week. she's in the middle of doing her training to be a breastfeeding counsellor and wants to doa case study of me for her course. Off to see Sharon this Thursday to get Swyn weighed and also to fill in the charts which I should have been given by my health visitor a long time ago.

Still not very heavy- still in first size clothes but enarly out of them.
She's growing height wise just not putting the weight on

I wonder....

.... about the power of dreams...................

A week after i'd had the triple blood test when i was pregnant ith Swyn- i had a dream.

In the dream the midwife came round to tell me i was high risk for abnormalities.

Later THAT DAY she did indeed call and tell me that very news.

Last night I had a dream that my period would start and today it has. No reason for it to be today- i am still breastfeeding so theoretically they might not have started for months.

There have been other dreams- i just wonder....
