Happy Birthday my beautiful girl

Can't believe my baby is 4. She was so exceited this morning and has been really good all day. er party is this Saturday- hope it doesn't snow to stop people coming.
Have been very productive last few days and used the Nov Scrapagogo kit. I just love gettingeverything in one box to focus my mind :)
Erin's birthday card- not Gogo but Blonde Moments.

Treasures of my heart- the title isn't clear but it says Treasures of my heart.
Then I have an Erin LO and a Swyn LO and then MY GIRLS. I've come across American Mags and boy are they good. I love them- loads of journalling.

Thought I'd posted about last weeks weigh in

but just read back over my blog and I hadn't.
Took her to the breastfeeding group locally where I had arranged to meet Sharon and my little dot is now up to a heavyweight 9lb 12 oz :) She has put on 7 1/2 oz in the previous 6 days. next weigh in will be baby clinic on Thursday when she has her second lot of jabs- really hate them but would hate it more if something happened to her because I hadn't had her immunised.

Erin's birthday this Thursday coming and her party will be on the following Saturday. Gordon Bennet- 4 years ago we were still just a couple, mind you I was overdue by now this time 4 eyars ago as madame was actually due on the 26th January

Finally getting round to some scrapping

Went to a crop for a few hours today and took the November GoGo kit. Altered this clipboard for hanging on the kitchen wall and keep all our receipts on it. I just LURVE the blue transparent ribbon- the colour is soooo lush.

















Also made some cards with the GOGO card kit for December. The Love one has embossed acetate on the squares- if you look closely you may be able to see it. All the others are either Gogo kits or Sarah's cards kits.

Came home after lunch today as I had Swyn with me and she wasn't into being settled at all although she had been fantastic all morning (and she slept so I was able to alter the clipboard)

Had loads of fun over the past few days making cards with some lovely Magnolia images, I can sort of do some watercolouring of an evening when Swyn is feeding and then in the 45 mins I have in the morning, after I make the fire and sort the chores out I can make a few cards.

forgot to say...

.....rang Vodafone the other day to ask hen my phone was due for renewal- now says the girl so I'm getting a new phone- being delivered to Ian's tomorrow- the Samsung G600- HERE it is.

Hadn't really thought what i wanted as a phone but then again I never do and alwasy end up with what they recommend.
So long as it has a decent camera I'm not really bothered. There's a crack across the lens on my old camera phone so a new camera phone is a bit of a necessity really and it's totally FREE which is better

busy week

Last week was a busy old week.
Weigh in on Thursday where Swyn had put on 3 1/2 oz in the previous week.
Have gone back to wearing my old glasses for a bit as I'm fed up of the red ones. Love frameless.
Creatively I haven't done an awful lot- tis nigh on impossible with Swyn but who cares eh, she won't need me like this forever will she.
Mims and Lana are coming down from liverpool tomorrow and are coming here along with Annwen and Tracy so there'll be 5 Pink Fluffy Fairies all together- can't wait- no doubt I won't get anything done but it'll be nice to chat.

Yesterday...

I got crafty. Finally finished a Christmas book I've been working on- Nadolig is Christmas in Welsh. Pictures from Christmas and lush papers from Bubbly Funk, ribbons from various kits over at Little Silver Hat (boo hoo- do you really have to close Lianne) and also Ribbon Mad- . have been working on it for a while but finally tied the ribbons on yesterday.
Also finished an acetate wall hanging that I'm not too sure about. Started and finshed and hung a canvas with pictures of both my girls. And then finally a card. Have also made a couple of cards for the GOGO birthday club but I won't post them here as the recipients haven't seen them yet :)

Papercraft Essentials

Now I don't normally buy magazines but a few months ago i bought Papercraft essentials and entered a competition- (don't do this very often either)

Then on the 1st December ago a Xyron arrived through the post and I knew it was a freebie but I couldn't remmeber from what- I had a new baby to contend with at the time lol.

So happened to buy the mag in Smiths today, flisking through, thought to myself- that card looks familiar and realised IT WAS MINE- WOWSER

Tis hard to get creative at the moment. WHEN I get time I tend to feel forced. The other night I really wanted to scrap and had zillions of ideas but Swyn wouldn't settle. The following night Swyn settled with Ian and I totally lOST my mojo

On the down side Swyn hadn't gained a lot of weight this last 6 days BUT as sharon siad over the last month she's gained well.

Upping the domperidone and a bit more formula for Swyn and reweigh next week.She's developing so nicely I really thougt we'd have a big gain this week.

On the positive side my health is improving- Heamaglobin is up to 10 and my platelets are 127. Splenectomy isn't such an urgent matter any more- I was going to have to have it this spring but the consultant is happy to wait till Swyn is a bit older before whipping it out.

Really wish

...Ian would listen to me when I'm telling him how to compose the shot. he feels that because it's digital all the editing can be done on the pc but you lose resolution when you cut the photo down. He also thinks that autofocus is totally automatic- well MR M- it isn't- you have to do soem focusing- as I keep telling you- I really wish you would listen so that I can have some nice photos of me and the girls for wen they're older.

Ian took the first photo tonight of Swyn and i and the other photo is of Erin when she was about the same age as Swyn is now

for Erin's new boots!!!!!!!!! Argh. She needed new shoes as her previous pair of Boots-£38 last September- were getting a bit small.
My fault- I should just go to clarks and pay £28 for a pair of Boots but their choice is very limited locally so I go to a lovely little children's shoe shop and the choice is extensive- unless you want dark colours- ten you're restricted to Bobell- French or German chioldren's shoes. Extremely well made and also fairly expensive- but what price her little feet being looked after.

Swyn and Erin both had their jabs on thursday. Erin was a trooper and took both jabs without a moan at all but little Swyn scremed the house down. My heart bled for both my girls. Poor Erin got taken off me as soon as she'd had her jabs and Swyn was thrust at me. I really could have done with giving Erin a cuddle before having her taken off me.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It's also bloody annoying.

Tell you what else really annoys me- people not saying thank you. That's for opening a door for someone, picking something up for someone, doing somebody a favour or for gifts. Really gets my goat when people can't show common courtesy and use 2 little words- Thank you- or even one- Thanks
