Daddy's girls

Ian loves this pic of him and the girls so I decided to use it in this little frame and papers from the Scrapagogo kit. Tis a little wall hanging.

Went to Next first thing this morning and spent a small fortune on the smallest person in the house. I also got a coat and some trousers as well as a card holder for next year and a memo board. Number one daughter got a lamp for her bedroom.
Ian then decided we need a new dining room funiture so we went to MFI but saw nowt there.
Went to Homebase and as we walked in through the door we saw this table and 6 chairs. We both fell for it so we bought it. poor Ian then had to take me home so that he had an empty Galaxy to go back and get it. It only just fitted in his car but luckily it did and we are home and he has built the table and will start on the chairs once he's put erin to bed

8lb 9 oz

Yup, my little dot is just over her birth weight. Took her to be weighed today and she's put on 4 1/2 oz. 4 oz is the acceptable minimum weight gain so she's just inside the boundaries.

Had a lovely day today, went out for most of the day with my mother and 2 gorgeous daughters.
Tracy gave Erin a butterfly money box that you paint yourself and this is wha se and Ian got up to yesterday. It looks really lovely, all shiny and abstract :)
She also made a thank you card for my parents- can you guess which one was done by the 4 year old.
The rest are my thank you cars- off to write them now

Fast asleep

Here she is in the coorie. We didn't like the Coorie newborn hold initially but she fell asleep on my mother today and then I had to cook tea so tried er in it again because I couldn't get her into the Mobywrap.

Christmas

3 1/2 oz

since Monday. My little dot had her tongue tie cut today. She had put on 3 1/2 oz since Monday. Have to take her to be weighes next Thursday or get a health visitor to come here and weigh her. We are soooooo lucky to have a breastfeeding expert in this area- without Sharon I tink I would have been forced to give up (by Swyn losing weight I mean and not knowing about things like supplementers)

One measley ounce

Yup, madam decided to do a massive wee and poo just before she was weighed and so showed a gain of only one measley ounce.
I weighed her nappy seperately and that was 4 oz. An empty nappy is half an ounce. I don't know what to think. The health visitor says that her cold will be draining her as well.

Car's a write off....

.... bit of good news in the gloom.
Weather pants here- freezing cold. Both girls have colds. Weigh in this afternoon.- wish us luck.

My team on UKS has gone a bit haywire. 2 of the members have had a swap go wrong and rather than sort it out between us one of them went public. All sorts of people dived in and it got really dirty.

Both were in the wrong. Both were fairly new members but had known each other in a previous team and have left a horrid taste and upset for the rest of us.

We've all discussed and decided to go back to how we were before they joined and to stay as an 8 team rather than a 10. We had trouble last year and I nearly left the team due to one person being nasty.

The rest of us all know and care about each other and would never do what these 2 have done.
Look at what Lana, Mims and Tracy did for me cos I wasn't joining in the advent swap- that is friendship!!!!! not posting nasty stuff about each other on public forums/blogs and getting other people to dive in when they don't know the full facts.

Anyway enuff said- wish me luck this afternoon

Swyn has put on 4 1/2 oz since monday with a tiny bit of supplemental feeding.

i have the feeder thing now- this'll be fun.

She's also getting the tongue tie cut on Thursday

Swyn has only put an ounce on- going to hae to start using a supplementer when I go to see Sharon on Wednesday. Have given her a couple of cup feeds, one last night and one today just to see if it makes a difference

Went looking for our decs last night and could only find one box. I know there's another one in the attic somewhere but goodness knows where so we're off later today to buy some lights. Won't get a tree till the middle of the week.

Waiting for ian to get back form the hospital- he was crashed into on the M6 on Friday night and his back and head are hurting so he's gone to A and E this morning- they've told him to take a week off work, to rest and to take painkillers- as if he can take a week off work being self employed lol

Sion Corn

Went to see Sion Corn on Tuesday. Had a lovely afternoon. Erin very happy, Swyn slept.

Talking of Swyn, saw Sharon yesterday, have to carry on with Domperidone and Fenugreek and the pumping. I'm pretty desperate for this to work as it's so important for me to be able to feed Swyn rather than give her formula.

Some lovely Blonde Moments stamps arrived today, also ordered a Cuttlebug so i can emboss- more flippin gadgets, what am i like

Weight update

saw the second gp today. he had a look at Swyn and said that if she hadn't gained when the health visitor weighed her then we would be admitted to hospital for investigation.

She had gained 1oz since Thursday.

HV told me to feed her which I did for 10 mins and she put an oz on during the feed which shows that I have 'some' milk.

Went to the support group today and the GP who runs it really boosted me up-as she said- it's going up not down.

She now weighs 7lb 81/2 oz

Another GEM

My teammie and friend Tracy gets the Gogo greetings kit which I have been coveting and fancying for a while now.
Anyway she has decided to cancel her kit so i asked her if i could have a look at the next one and i'd buy it off her- so there's the background.
Just received this email-

The greetings kit has turned up and it's lush. I hope you love it cos it's your advent gift- I'm just too blardy lazy to wrap it all individually lol. I wanted to bring it round today, but dh wanted to go to Llandudno- big mistake!!! Wanted to let you know about the kit as it feels bad you being the only one not to get anything.

So aren't they all BLARDY FABULOUS

BUT MIMSIE AND LANA- 2 of my faBULOUS teammates have put me an advent box together and sent it to me.

They really are the absolute bet. The other week I got a massive box with not one but flippin loads of gorgeous little outfits for Swyn AND a pressie for Erin and now this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
